From the very beginning in 1992, Sean and Roxanne Simmons, the husband and wife duo behind Greenberry’s Coffee Co., knew they wanted to bring a higher quality of coffee to Charlottesville, VA.
They opened their first location in the heart of town- The Barracks Road Shopping Center because they wanted to create a community meeting place, serving craft, hand roasted coffee that catered to all- young and elderly.
Over twenty-seven years later, Greenberry’s Coffee Co. still has the pleasure of serving the same customers that helped in opening the first store and continues to expand in opening new locations and developing new products.
Greenberry’s is a family; employees and customers become friends who come in and enjoy their time at the coffee shop. We cater to all demographics; we know them by their names and know their order as soon as they come in. This is what matters most to us; it’s the people and the relationships we have built with our coworkers, customers, and business partners in order to create an exceptional coffee experience and supportive work environment.
Our team is dedicated to refining every area of our craft; from roasting to serving that freshly brewed batch, to ensure that quality is evident in every roast, every bag of beans, every drink, and every interaction with our customers.
